RecyClass offers different types of reports depending on the user needs. A simple report can be used internally to improve the recyclability of the packaging or it can also be officially certified and used as a marketing tool. A description of all available options is provided below.
1.RecyClass self-analysis: Anyone can run their own Recyclass analysis via the online tool. A “RecyClass report” will be issued to download at the end of the online analysis.
2.RecyClass report expert-checked: After running a Recyclass analysis, on specific request from the user an expert of Recyclass will check it and give a more personalised feedback. This report will not represent an official certification of any kind and it can only be used for internal purposes.
3.RecyClass Official Certification: The analysis on the packaging will be conducted by an external auditor who will verify the result. An official certification will be issued and this will allow the RecyClass label to be displayed on the packaging. The RecyClass label can be displayed in the package as a marketing claim for consumers aware of the recycling importance.

Assess, improve and endorse the recyclability of your packaging
In January 2018, the European Commission released European Strategy for Plastics in a Circular Economy where it urged the plastics industry and its value chain to encourage and ensure a shift in production of plastic packaging. The plastics industry’s business as usual is at crossroads, as recyclability is becoming a priority aspect in packaging design. This has triggered several brands to announce pledges to work towards increased recyclability of packaging. More
Recycling starts in the product design phase. The key to more sustainable plastics is better design of plastics and plastics products.
